Project Selection
Yacht Carbon Offset is continually researching new high-quality carbon reduction projects to offer to our clients. All our selected projects are certified under one of four internationally recognised registries: Gold Standard; Verified Carbon Standard; UNFCCC and Plan Vivo. This year we have added two projects to our selection. Click the link to find out more:
Our clients can choose which project they would like to support to complete their carbon offset transaction. In 2024, as the demand for our services continues to grow, we will continue to identify additional renewable energy and coastal marine projects to offer.

The Yacht Carbon Offset team keeps up-to-date with the latest environmental news and developments and shares this knowledge in educational articles, newsletters, social media posts and presentations. In 2023 our articles’ topics included among other things: COP28, technological advancements in the superyacht industry, selective catalytic reduction (SCR), and the pivotal role of carbon offsetting in combatting GHGs.

Yacht Shows: Hoisting the Yacht Carbon Offset Banner
As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting carbon offsetting, we continued to actively engage with members of the superyacht community at yacht shows, including the MYBA Charter Show and the Antigua Yacht Show which we also carbon offset. This year we are exploring opportunities to discover new avenues for engagement, such as the Mediterranean Yacht Show in Nafplion, Greece at the end of April.
Developing Sustainability in the Industry
We have noticed a definite shift in both mindset and attitude regarding sustainability within the industry this year. Superyacht owners, captains, and industry professionals are increasingly recognising the importance of environmental responsibility and the imperative to reduce their carbon footprint. We are proud to have supported our clients in their sustainability goals and we are hopeful for the progress this represents.
